Electronics and embedded systems

MNC Analytics designs electronic and embedded systems for measurement, signal processing, communication and equipment interaction. We support projects from requirements definition and architecture through prototype development, testing and preparation for production transfer.

Our approach considers the complete operating environment: measurement accuracy, electrical noise, timing, power, thermal behaviour, communications, maintainability and integration with the wider system.

What we offer

8

  1. 01

    Electronic system architecture

Define requirements and allocate functions across sensors, analogue circuits, digital hardware, firmware and external computing platforms.

  2. 02

    Analogue and mixed-signal design

Develop sensor interfaces, excitation circuits, amplification, filtering, isolation and signal conversion.

  3. 03

    Digital electronics

Integrate microcontrollers, processors, programmable logic, memory and digital communication interfaces.

  4. 04

    Printed circuit board development

Prepare schematics, component selections, layouts and fabrication information, with attention to signal integrity, power integrity and testability.

  5. 05

    Embedded software and firmware

Develop drivers, data acquisition logic, communications, diagnostics, real-time processing and device management functions.

  6. 06

    Power and communications integration

Design power management and connect devices through appropriate wired or wireless interfaces.

  7. 07

    Prototyping and verification

Support assembly, board bring-up, laboratory characterisation, functional testing and fault investigation.

  8. 08

    Production readiness

Prepare bills of materials, programming procedures and test requirements, and support handover to a selected manufacturing partner.

What this enables

Custom instrumentation, intelligent devices and embedded platforms designed around the requirements of a specific application. Engagements can deliver design files, firmware, working prototypes and verification evidence, with production and certification support scoped as required.
